Graphic Design

Design Services

Design, illustration and project management for: conference materials; annual reports; advertising; books; brochures; catalogues; e-blasts; invitations; newsletters and posters (in print or electronic format)

Design and finished art for brand development, including: logos; wordmarks; web banners; stationery; signage; trade show informational signs; large format posters; direct mail pieces and digital signage.

Social media page design and development.

From Concept to Completion

In most cases, we will discuss your needs and expectations and estimate what the project requires. If you need illustration or photography, we can arrange for seasoned professionals to work with you. Once you have secured an estimate and you give us the go ahead, we prepare one to two comprehensive designs for your review and comment. Typically, with your feedback, we can complete the design process with two to three revisions.

Fees

Our fees are based on hourly rates and the materials needed to complete your project. We try to be as accurate as possible with our estimates. If you change your project's specifications or extent, we will notify you of the costs associated with these changes before proceeding. A surcharge will be added to accommodate rescheduling should any project be submitted requiring completion under a tight deadline.

Billing

We bill at project completion. Our invoices are due upon receipt. We accept Western's speedcodes and will also direct bill.

Digital Signage

Do you have a message about a special event or activity that you would like to promote to the campus? Maximize your ability to communicate with students, faculty and staff by providing valuable and dynamic content on four screens in high-traffic locations: The Book Store’s entrance and check-out, Campus Computer Store customer service desk and beside Tim Horton’s in the University Community Centre.

The benefits to using digital signage include:

  • Timely and relevant information to your customers;
  • An advertising venue for campus departments, community groups and vendors;
  • Cost recovery of annual fees through co-op advertising; and
  • A service for the campus during emergencies or non-profit groups
